DAVID SNEESBY

DAVID SNEESBY
CHIEF EXECUTIVE
A graduate of the University of Cambridge and Warwick Business School (MBA), David’s career includes senior Commercial, Marketing and General Management positions in leading international companies within the retail, leisure and media sectors. These include Marks & Spencer, Boots, Kingfisher, Nuffield Health, Crown Sports, Which? and Kantar TNS. David has also held a number of non-executive board positions and provides consultancy and advisory services. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors. He also holds a post graduate qualification in executive coaching and mentoring.
Following his successful career in industry, in 2004 David founded an executive search and leadership consulting firm that grew to become a recognised global leader with worldwide offices. In 2019 he established The LSL Group to focus on executive and non-executive mandates with a specialism in professional associations and membership organisations. He derives satisfaction from building enduring partnership relationships with his clients and using his creativity and consultancy experience to help his clients to optimise their business performance. David is also an executive coach.
David lives in Buckinghamshire, in a nonstop house with his wife, 4 children, a dog and cat. He enjoys paragliding, skiing, rugby, following current affairs, good food and wine, theatre, travel and supporting businesses and enabling people to achieve their full potential.

An experienced Chief People Officer, entrepreneur and non-executive director, Elisa works with people to help them become the best versions of themselves at work. Valued for her honest, straightforward and empathic approach, Elisa is sought out by established and newly appointed executives, supporting them in their development as leaders, able to navigate the demands of complex change, while creating workplaces in which people can thrive.
A graduate in both Psychology and Sociology, with a post graduate qualification in Executive Mentoring & Coaching, Elisa spent her early career in HR at Ford, Heinz and PepsiCo. The second half of her career was defined by working with companies undergoing significant transformation. She was Chief People Officer at Marconi, Virgin Media and Bupa. In 2017, Elisa transitioned into a plural career, launching two entrepreneurial start ups. eniteo offers a range of HR and business consultancy to clients in the FTSE 100 - 350 as well as privately owned organisations. In 2019 she also fulfilled a childhood ambition, becoming an author, launching Notebook Mentor, a new concept in career journaling.
As an associate of The LSL Group, Elisa continues to mentor and coach Boards, Chairs, CEO’s and executives from a variety of walks of life. She additionally operates as a freelance writer, able to create compelling stories, development materials and on-brand communications for customers.
Elisa is independent non-executive director on the Board of the British Medical Association.

A graduate in Commerce of Napier University Alistair’s experience includes Executive, Non-Executive and advisory roles specialising in Human Resources He has a strategic but hands-on approach and a consistent record of delivering substantial change and business transformation across a variety of people-centric sectors on a global basis including within the Commercial, Charity, Education and Professional Association sectors.
Alistair’s early career was spent within global technology and manufacturing with Schlumberger, Solartron Group, The Roxboro Group and Bookham Technology including a spell in private equity. He then moved into the charity sector as HR Director at the NSPCC and subsequently into the professional association sector where he was Director of HR and CSR at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
As an associate of The LSL Group, Alistair supports organisations through structured transformational change, particularly in relation to organisation design, talent development, reward and employee engagement.

Mark entered the profession in 1980 qualifying as a Chartered Company Secretary at British Aerospace plc, since which time, he has built a wealth of experience across companies with diverse domestic and international businesses. These include Guinness plc, Diageo plc, Xansa plc, Balfour Beatty plc, UBM plc and ReAssure Group, a regulated company in the financial services sector. Most recently, Mark has focused on conducting board performance reviews and providing corporate governance and company secretarial services to clients across the listed and non-listed sectors.
With over 30 years of “in the boardroom” experience, Mark is an experienced Board evaluator, having advised Boards on value enhancing best Boardroom practices as well as corporate governance, stock exchange and company law matters more generally. Mark has been responsible for ensuring high standards of Board effectiveness and pragmatic governance arrangements for numerous companies in a wide range of industries. As well as having a deep knowledge of those topics traditionally within the remit of company secretaries, Mark has also developed a breadth of experience across the broader governance, regulatory and compliance (‘GRC’) landscape, having led company-wide GRC initiatives across multiple workstreams involving senior stakeholders.
A Fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) and a member of its Company Secretaries Forum for over 20 years, Mark has chaired its International Committee and been an active participant in his profession, contributing to the development of Board best practice guidance and as a contributor to the Institute’s formal responses to government consultations on corporate governance and other related matters. He has also been a member of the Companies Committee of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). Mark is a graduate of the University of Warwick and is also a qualified flying instructor.
